Through over thirty years in the communications business I have been lucky enough to work with the best and most exciting people in the industry starting with joining Saatchi & Saatchi in the early ‘80s – a first rate training in the art of the possible. I stayed with the agency for a decade which included a two year stint in New York.
I joined BBH in 1990 and, save an ill-advised flit, was there until 2009. Early accounts I ran included NatWest, John West, Audi, Cointreau, Tag Heuer, McCain and Mail on Sunday.
I moved in 1998 to run BBH Asia Pacific as CEO and spent four years building the agency from humble beginnings (through the bursting of the Asian ‘bubble’) to regional ‘Agency of the Year’. The business and cultural learning was absolutely fascinating. Returning to London as President – International Operations I led the global Diageo, LG and British Airways accounts.
My last pre-Grace Blue position was President CEO of Cheil UK in which role I led the doubling of revenue and profitability in two years as well as overseeing a hugely successful Samsung Olympics.
Grace Blue allows me to focus on the thing I love most about the business – great talent.
