I spent my formative years in Hong Kong and Singapore before moving to Australia for college. Having graduated with a Business degree majoring in Public Relations and Marketing from Curtin University towards the end of the Asia Financial Crisis, I returned to Singapore and was lured by the fascinating world of Mad Men. I was fortunate enough to begin my advertising career with McCann Erickson followed by DDB, and worked on a number of great brands and with some fantastic talent.
6 years on in account management running regional and local integrated campaigns for Clients like Nestle, Johnson & Johnson, DHL, MobileOne, and Philips, headhunting beckoned. I decided to dedicate my passion for advertising, interest in people, and account management skills to finding exceptional talent for the creative, media and communications industries, a career choice I have not looked back on since switching 12 years ago.
I relish the challenge of being a relentless talent hunter, a trusted career advisor, and of thinking outside the box to identify who best fit a role and could go on to become movers and shakers in a fast-paced, ever evolving industry. I believe in long term, honest partnerships with both clients and talent, and that visionary, people-centric leadership is the key asset to any organisation.
I joined the brilliant team at Grace Blue to focus on placing senior leadership roles and to deepen my knowledge across the dynamic APAC region.
Outside of work, I love globe-trotting and discovering all things related to art, food, culture, history, design and architecture. I also try to squeeze in a bit of bikram yoga, scuba diving, skiing and hiking every now and then.
