Following three years of blood, sweat and tears studying Locke and Descartes, I put my knowledge of the great philosophers to good use as a graduate trainee at McCann-Erickson London. During my five years there I worked in both new business and account management, whilst also running the agency's graduate recruitment and mentoring programs.
In 2001 I left to set up my own business, before moving into the world of communications recruitment with Kendall Tarrant where, amongst other things, I was responsible for growing the European remit of its business. During this time I worked with the two best recruiters in the business: Juliet Timms and Kendall Tarrant's founder, Gay Haines.
In late 2006 the three of us set up Grace Blue with a view to working exclusively with the most senior people in the communications business all over the world. We quickly established ourselves in the British and European markets as well as in Asia and in 2012, as the business continued to scale, I moved to New York to set up our US operation.
Away from Grace Blue, I'm kept busy entertaining 3 small people, a girl and two boys and following Arsenal from afar.
