Having grown up in the depths of rural Gloucestershire, cheese rolling and duck racing, I decided to expand my linguistic knowledge beyond that of the indeterminable regional dialects by studying French and German at Bath University.
It was during my degree and through a number of internships that I discovered my passion for media. This led me to a journalism position with Germany's international broadcaster, Deutsche Welle, where I read the news for the English language programme and presented live broadcasts, including reporting from Berlin's infamous Love Parade. After graduating and upon realising I was not Germany's answer to Sophie Raworth I moved into PR, working for London agencies specialising in both consumer and B2B PR and with clients ranging from tourist boards and FMCG to international legal practices and property companies.
In 2011 I was presented with the opportunity to join the ranks at Grace Blue; the potential to work on international briefs with some truly inspirational people was too good to turn down.
