After hopping on a Trans-Pacific flight to Shanghai in 2011, I quickly realized that my Mandarin language skills were only going to get me as far as the nearest bathroom and so began my two year adventure in Mainland China. It began with a one-year fellowship in which I directed a community outreach program helping local high students prepare for college abroad, while generating branding and sales leads. My role then evolved into marketing and recruitment for the organization, often serving as editor and writer for international education publications and recruiting international educators from across the globe.
Now that I have joined Grace Blue and have repatriated back to my hometown of New York City, the adventure only continues from here.
When I'm out and about you can find me rehearsing modern dance for an art collective in Brooklyn, playing handball and having a laugh while listening to podcasts on the L train.
