Having started my career as a Financial Consultant in the financial and banking industry, I left after 2 years when I decided that finance and sales was not my cup of tea. I then went on to several administrative and supporting roles as a Personal Assistant and Office Manager, and discovered that I actually enjoy creating order in the work place and making sense of people's lives. In a good way.
Later on, just for the challenge, I joined a recruitment firm as a researcher, assisting the consultants with resume searches, candidate screenings, formatting candidates' resumes, etc.. I then progressed to become a Recruiter, providing end-to-end solutions by sourcing, screening and selecting appropriate candidates for clients. Joining the Grace Blue APAC office at its infancy has never been more exciting; I am eager to apply my experience and definitely looking forward to learning more.
Outside of work, like a true Singaporean, I love browsing through shopping websites, from China to the USA, determined not to miss out on any good bargains.
